SUMMARY:Monthly Sohbet | with Aziz | via Zoom | 10am-12noon
DESCRIPTION:Dear Friends,\nJoin us in our next sohbet on 14 March, usual time 10:00 am– 12:00 pm UK time.\nOur topic for exploration is what is, for me, the most fundamental and inspiring reason for the Sufi path: Longing!\nThis has always been in the background of the teachings that we have tasted, so now, let’s bring it to the surface and dance with it.\nRumi does not treat longing as weakness. He treats it as proof of divine attraction.\n“The minute I heard my first love story,\nI started looking for You, not knowing\nhow blind that was.\nLovers don’t finally meet somewhere.\nThey’re in each other all along.”\nHazrat is more precise, less ecstatic in tone, but metaphysically clear.\n“The longing for God is the proof that one belongs to God.”\nHe repeatedly insists: the desire for God is not manufactured by the ego. It is God desiring Himself through you.\nLove\nAziz\n \nZoom Link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88049036777?pwd=xVxamhEPKRDDxcaaxPaEdsZza5VsE0.1 ( https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88049036777?pwd=xVxamhEPKRDDxcaaxPaEdsZza5VsE0.1 ) \n \nFuture dates: April 18th | May 16th | June 13th | July 11th\n
