The Way of Story: Finding Ourselves in the Tales of the Soul

Our intention is to awaken the heart through the wisdom of stories — ancient and modern — and to explore how story can reveal the inner path of transformation and unity.

We will attune through breath practices, chanting and meditation in movement to experience togetherness, stillness, joy and common soul journeys.

By listening to powerful teaching stories, with the openness and innocence of a child, truths and messages beyond dogmas and doctrines come through and touch the heart directly. They invite curiosity, reflection, and shared humanity.

Bring some vegetarian lunch to share because by sharing bread we re-enact the cosmic Mass and as Pir Vilayat said: “From the moment that one has broken bread at the same table, one is linked by a special link… we have been sharing this wonderful bread and wine at the same table, and that establishes a link between us that can never be broken.” 

Guided by Aziz Dikeulias, senior teacher of the Inayatiyya, this day offers space to explore the Sufi path of the heart—through story, meditation, and shared presence.

You are invited to please bring something Vegetarian/Vegan for a shared community lunch. Please kindly bring an ingredients list to help those with allergies. Thank you.
