Monthly Group | with Munira Salomon | 17:30-19:00, via Zoom

For our meeting, we’ll be looking at concentration. Murshid said, “For this world and the other, for material as well as spiritual progress, concentration is most essential.”

Murshid tells us there are seven kinds of concentration in Sufism, which we will be exploring:

  1. Namas – for control of the body.
  2. Wazifa – for control of the thought.
  3. Zikr – for physical purification.
  4. Fikr – for mental purification.
  5. Qasab – for entering into the spirit.
  6. Shaghal – for entering into the abstract.
  7. Amal – for complete annihilation.
