‘God is love’; when love is awakened in the heart,
God is awakened there.
Hazrat Inayat Khan
A Sufi path in its essence is about the heart…often being referred to as ‘The religion of the heart’.
And yet there is so much in the world which is hard to witness. Without consciously choosing, with will and intention, to keep our heart open, we can easily close off from pain, becoming numb to all feelings, including love and joy.
And without an open heart, we cannot connect with our soul, which is the part of us that knows God. We can also not respond to life’s challenges in ways that enable growth and transformation.
On this day together we will explore ways to keep our hearts open, and ways to stay in alignment with the natural rhythm of the heart.
Please join Noor alima (Kim Hanna) at the London Sufi Centre on Saturday, 31st October from 11:30am to 4.30m (in the Universel on the top floor of CCPE).
For more information, please email Noor alima at Kimberly.paumier@btinternent.com.
Tuning the heart means changing the vibrations, bringing them to a certain pitch which is the natural one where you feel the joy and ecstasy of life, which enables you to give pleasure to others even by your presence because you are tuned.
Hazrat Inayat Khan
The first half hour is for welcoming new seekers.
