Meeting monthly at the London Sufi Centre, CCPE, near Paddington/Little Venice. Â
The day explores Sufi teachings, along with meditation, practices that are helpful in meeting the challenges that we face in our everyday lives. Through experiential work, we have the capacity to shift our viewpoint to a larger and more encompassing one, which upholds the value of the sacredness of all beings.
There is also often chanting, singing and Dances of Universal Peace. Throughout the day, and including a shared lunch, there are opportunities to meet and connect with new people and build stronger ties within the Inayatiyya community.

Dances of Universal Peace 6.30-7pm
Message Class 7-8pm
Weekly group which meets at the London Sufi Centre, CCPE, near Paddington/Little Venice. You’re welcome to come to both the Dances of Universal Peace and the Message Class or come to the Message Class at 7pm. Â
The evening begins with a half hour of Sufi Dances of Universal Peace, which involves the chanting sacred phrases and names of God from different spiritual traditions. This is done with movement, which enables the body to be included in the practice of meditation.
These dances offer us an opportunity to discover the sacredness and majesty in ourselves and others. There is the potential to go beyond our familiar, habitual encounters to a place where we can see the divinity behind humanity. This enables us to experience a quality of intimacy beyond the level of personality, where our soul feels touched…a profound understanding of something beyond ordinary life experience.
Each Message Class focuses on a different aspect of the work of Hazrat Inayat Khan, a 20th Century mystic. The teachings concentrate on how to apply spiritual principles to our daily lives, helping us to lead more balance, harmonious and creative lives, and to apply the spiritual ideals of love, harmony, and beauty to the challenges and opportunities we face.
The principal message of Hazrat Inayat Khan is that of the unity of all spiritual traditions. The journey is Towards the One, beyond the distinctions and differences that separate us. So those of all religious backgrounds are welcome.Â
Hazrat Inayat Khan’s work is to awaken us beyond the fixed concepts we have of ourselves and the world. Through this process, we discover meaningfulness and purpose in our life and an understand of the meaning of service to humanity.
This group is taught by different teachers in London and the surrounding area. The Message class works with different volumes collected from the teachings of Hazrat Inayat Khan.Â
